"Jajouka - Quelque chose de bon vient vers toi", d'Eric et Marc Hurtado, ou les amours légendaires de Bou Jeloud, mi-homme mi-bouc, et Aïcha Kandisha la démone, aux sources de l'art des maîtres musiciens de Jajouka, formation marocaine de réputation mondiale, aux collaborations prestigieuses et anciennes, grâce à l'entremise de prestigieux passeurs tels que Brion Gysin, auquel le film rend expressément hommage. D'un laboureur au lion à une danse de mille jours, en passant par Pan le père des peaux, figure tutélaire de Bou Jeloud et du village de Jajouka, le film des frères Hurtado épouse la forme du conte, se subdivise en chapitres pour pénétrer les arcanes de la musique des maîtres de Jajouka, lancinante et serpentine, rapportée à la transe soufie. S'il veut dire l'immatériel (l'infigurable) de la musique, "Jajouka" est pourtant un film à hauteur de sabots, un film fiché dans la terre, au ras du sol, des matières, des peaux. Ici les légendes et divinités pèsent d'un poids minéral, et l'on ne s'élève vers le soleil que pour mieux dire la pesanteur. Un film d'effort et de fatigue donc, de courses sans fin, de métempsychoses et de chamanisme, comme pour incarner la mélopée de la flûte de Bachir Attar, chef des maîtres musiciens de Jajouka, et la pulsation des tambours - comme pour transcrire en images et en voix ce son "semblable à la terre qui s'arrache l'épiderme".
