1 edition published in 2015 in English and held by 1 WorldCat member library worldwide

Singer/songwriter Bill Medley, half of the musical duo The Righteous Brothers, describes how he and singing partner Bobby Hatfield fused 1950s musical influence with 60's and 70's rhythm and blues in composing music. Medley shares stories about his early days as a member of The Paramours, his time touring with The Beatles, and championing the term "blue-eyed soul" to describe the impact of black artists on The Righteous Brothers' style. Tim Riley, professor of journalism at Emerson College, comments on the importance of the song "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'" to the rhythm and blues genre of music and on the industry as a whole. Medley takes questions and comments from callers. Includes excerpts from Righteous Brothers songs such as "Little Latin Lupe Lu", "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'", "Chimes In My Heart", and "In My Room."
