Alfie Wickers is the worst teacher to ever (dis)grace the British Education System. Hungover, potty-mouthed, politically incorrect, disorganised and dishevelled, Alfie is the slacker of the classroom - and he's meant to be in charge! He's a maverick and his rag tag group of students love the chaos and unconformity that he brings to the classroom. As well as Alfie, Abbey Grove is populated by some equally weird and wonderful teaching talent - Fraser, the head teacher whose lines are more cringeworthy than David Brents'; Miss Gulliver, the seductive head of biology and woman of Alfie's dreams; and Miss Pickwell, the deputy headmistress with all the charms of the Gestapo

Bad Education is back for a new term but it appears Alfie Wickers still hasn't learnt a thing. Alfie Wickers (Jack Whitehall) returns as the self-styled maverick of Abbey Grove, attempting to teach his class something - anything - that requires zero effort. Although Alfie's heart is always in the right place, his judgment is often clouded by the fact he is, in reality, a bigger kid than any of the kids he teaches. The staff room politics aren't getting any easier either

Bullets are violent. Jokes are violent. Can either be used for good? What is?good'? A Good Bullet will make next to no effort to answer the last question because it's too hard. But it will have a crack at asking why and how jokes commit violence. Why and how they amuse us with things that otherwise cause us anxiety and pain. Why an

Awkward.Ten years later, they're wandering the wasteland where England used to be. They're joined by Laura, the child they conceived on the night of the nuclear war. They end up at a camp of survivors, where it turns out that a lack of food and water is merely the start of their problems. Cockroaches is a post-apocalyptic comedy about one family trying to survive in a wasteland of cannibals, perverts and one insufferable-ex. Our heroes struggle with boredom, fear and the ethics of cooking with their own body fluids. It's also about those absurd ideas on which our society is built. Like, how do you decide who's in charge? Do you re-establish the idea of money? What do you teach children? Is Cannibalism really such a bad idea if you're really really hungry?

Him & me by Jack Whitehall( Book )

1 edition published in 2013 in English and held by 2 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

This book is a portrait of the pretty odd relationship I have with my elderly father. It's given me an opportunity to share memories of him losing his temper with foreigners on holidays, being rude to my mother's family at Christmas and failing epically during the fathers' race at my prep school. He's also written some stories about me, but can I just say before you read anything that I recall being a calm, well-behaved and learned child, not the intellectually subnormal, mal-coordinated dipshit that he paints me as. Nor am I, as he suggests inside, a sex addict, a flasher or a scientologist. Jack How dare Jack refer to me as elderly! People always tell me how young I look for my age. In this book, I have at last been able to recount the many occasions when I have been let down by my only son. He failed on the stage, the sports field and he even screwed up the interview for his first boarding school by pretending he had mental health issues. Despite being practically illiterate, he tells stories about me, strewn with grammatical errors and peppered with endless exaggerations and lies. I was a kind, doting father, who guided his son through his formative years with love, care and respect. Michael I'm not your 'only son', what about Barnaby? Oh yes, I forgot about Barnaby
Bad education teachers' handbook by Freddy Syborn( Book )

1 edition published in 2013 in English and held by 2 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Contemporary fiction. Bad Education, written by and starring Jack Whitehall, follows Alfie Wickers the worst teacher to ever (dis)grace the British Education System, and a bigger kid than the pupils he teaches. Abbey Grove school is populated by some of the weirdest teachers you could ever meet: Fraser the hair-brained Headmaster who longs to be down with the kids, Miss Gulliver the biology teacher with a heart of gold but perhaps a dash too much openness and honesty, Miss Mollinson the happily swinging Head of Maths who won't let her hip replacement get in the way and Deputy Headmistress Miss Pickwell who displays all the charm and sensitivity of a Third Reich Dominatrix. Alfie's class is Form K, a bunch of misfits that have been written off by the rest of the school, but Alfie can't help but see a bit of himself in them. This is about a class of kids and their teacher's quest to get through life and get the best results with the minimum amount of effort possible. Sadly it's not an equation that always adds up

Jack and Michael Whitehall perform their laugh-out-loud autobiography Him & Me as a unique dual voiced comedy audiobook, filled with ad-libs, asides, and comic dialogue to create a uniquely funny listen. With family photographs and sketches by Jack himself, the result is a hugely entertaining insight into a hilarious and sometimes bumpy journey of self-discovery and into the unique relationship between a father and a son. The devotees that adore and worship Jack are already embracing his lovably grumpy father, who is rather enjoying his newfound fame.
