"Milgroim" also included the Yiddish authors David Bergelson and Der Nister as joint editors, both of whom left after the first issue because of a disagreement over the magazine's direction. "Milgroim" included articles on culture, art history, and contemporary art; Yiddish translations of authors like Hugo von Hofmannsthal and Arthur Schnitzler; and contemporary Yiddish poetry. Articles were not limited to Jewish themes; in one issue, an article on Hasidism was published alongside an article on Buddhism. Another issue discussed Cézanne alongside Max Nordau
