14 editions published in 1989 in English and held by 232 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Being an advanced account of certain aspects of general topology, the primary purpose of this volume is to provide the reader with an overview of recent developments. The papers cover basic fields such as metrization and extension of maps, as well as newly-developed fields like categorical topology and topological dynamics. Each chapter may be read independently of the others, with a few exceptions. It is assumed that the reader has some knowledge of set theory, algebra, analysis and basic general topology
Encyclopedia of general topology by Klaas Pieter Hart( Book )

18 editions published between 2003 and 2011 in English and held by 227 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

This book is designed for the reader who wants to get a general view of the terminology of General Topology with minimal time and effort. The reader, whom we assume to have only a rudimentary knowledge of set theory, algebra and analysis, will be able to find what they want if they will properly use the index. However, this book contains very few proofs and the reader who wants to study more systematically will find sufficiently many references in the book. Preliminary Airworthiness Evaluation AH - 1S (MC (Modernized Cobra)) Helicopter with External Fuel Tanks Installed( Book )

1 edition published in 1984 in English and held by 1 WorldCat member library worldwide

The Preliminary Airworthiness Evaluation of the AH-1S Modernized Cobra, (S/N 69-16423) with the Kellett ferry tanks installed was conducted at Edwards Air Force Base, California (2302 feet) and Bakersfield, California (488 feet). Approximately 19 productive hours were flown during 24 flights between 17 March and 27 April 1984. The Kellett ferry tanks increased the equivalent flat plate area by 2.0 sq ft. One deficiency noted during the evaluation was the lack of crashworthiness of the external fuel tanks. Four shortcomings associated with the installation of the external fuel tanks were found

Preliminary Airworthiness Evaluation of the OH-58C with 3-Axis Stability Control Augmentation System and Improved Tail Rotor System( Book )

1 edition published in 1983 in English and held by 1 WorldCat member library worldwide

This preliminary airworthiness evaluation was conducted on an OH-58C helicopter configured with a 3-axis digital stability control augmentation system (SCAS) and an improved tail rotor. Additional testing on the standard OH-58C equipped with the 3-axis SCAS was required in response to questions which surfaced during working sessions of the Joint Special Study Group investigating 0H-58 loss of tail rotor effectiveness. Testing was accomplished at Arlington, TX (elevation 630 feet), Leadville, CO (elev. 9927 feet) and Alamosa, CO (elev. 7535 feet). Test time totaled 44.2 productive flight test hours. With the improved tail rotor, adequate directional control margins were available for flight at all azimuths out to the wind limits (35 KTAS sideward and 30 KTAS rearward) of the aircraft at density altitudes up through 11,000 feet for a gross weight of 3,040 lb. The overall handling qualities of the OH-58C helicopter equipped with a 3-axis digital SCAS in either tail rotor configuration were significantly improved over the unaugmented aircraft configuration except as stated in the report. TWo handling quality deficiencies were noted
