In New South Wales in 1909, the Aborigines Protection Board began forcibly removing children from their parents and hiring them out as servants to white employers, their wages being sixpence a week. By the mid -1930's the Aboriginal people began to organise and fight the Board. Their history is traced using old newsreels, archive film, photographs and interviews with Aborigines who lived through that period
