The complexity of electronic embedded systems in cars is continuously growing. Hence, mastering the temporal behavior of such systems is paramount in order to ensure the safety and comfort of the passengers. As a consequence, the verification of end-to-end real-time constraints is a major challenge during the design phase of a car. The AUTOSAR software architecture drives us to address the verification of end-to-end real-time constraints as two independent scheduling problems respectively for electronic control units and communication buses. First, we introduce an approach, which optimizes the utilization of controllers scheduling numerous software components that is compatible with the upcoming multicore architectures. We describe fast and efficient algorithms in order to balance the periodic load over time on multicore controllers by adapting and improving an existing approach used for the CAN networks. We provide theoretical result on the efficiency of the algorithms in some specific cases. Moreover, we describe how to use these algorithms in conjunction with other tasks scheduled on the controller. The remaining part of this research work addresses the problem of obtaining the response time distributions of the messages sent on a CAN network. First, we present a simulation approach based on the modelisation of clock drifts on the communicating nodes connected on the CAN network. We show that we obtain similar results with a single simulation using our approach in comparison with the legacy approach consisting in numerous short simulation runs without clock drifts. Then, we present an analytical approach in order to compute the response time distributions of the CAN frames. We introduce several approximation parameters to cope with the very high computational complexity of this approach while limiting the loss of accuracy. Finally, we compare experimentally the simulation and analytical approaches in order to discuss the relative advantages of each of the two approaches

Un simulateur de conduite dynamique est un outil permettant, entre autres, d'étudier les processus d'intégration multi-sensorielle pour la perception du mouvement et la production du comportement de conduite. Néanmoins, les limitations mécaniques des simulateurs, qui imposent des stratégies dynamiques pour simuler le réel, peuvent avoir un impact défavorable sur la perception et le comportement du conducteur. Cette problématique est particulièrement vraie pour la prise de virages qui demeure une situation difficile à reproduire de façon réaliste notamment à cause des variations importantes d'accélérations latérales. Dans ce contexte, cette thèse présente des travaux de recherches permettant de mieux comprendre les processus d'intégration multi-sensorielle (rôle des informations inertielles et visuelles) pour la perception du mouvement en virages et de caractériser l'évolution d'un percept en fonction des conditions de simulation.En conclusion, il a été démontré que la perception des accélérations latérales est basée sur des processus non-linéaires. Le rôle des informations visuelles et inertielles semble donc dépendre des individus et du contexte (notamment du niveau des accélérations latérales) dans lequel ces stimulations sont produites. Sur la base de l'ensemble de ces résultats, des nouvelles pistes d'amélioration du simulateur dynamique SHERPA² de PSA sont proposées. Il est préconisé notamment d'employer un gain du mouvement latéral dégressif avec l'augmentation du niveau d'accélération latérale

The gearbox is an important component of an automobile and its development is complex. Numerous constraints must be taken into account, particularly its noise and vibration behavior. This aspect of the conception is nowadays poorly mastered and the noise pollution of gearboxes, such as the rattle noise, are often discovered late. The aim of this work was the development of a numerical model of gear dynamics adapted to gearboxes' modelling and allowing to predict the conditions of gear rattle noise appearance. The model proposed in this thesis is based on an original combination of different models and is applicable to the vast majority of gearboxes. Flexible components, such as shafts and housings are modeled by the finite element method. A gear model based on Kelvin-Voigt contact model is developed. It allows to take into account the contact losses and the back side contacts. To complete this model, mechanical loss models are implemented in order to take into account the influence of the bearings, plain bearings, synchronizers and gears' immersion in oil. This model coupled with a noise indicator allows for sensitivity analyzes to identify influential parameters on the rattle noise but also to compare the dynamic behavior of different configurations. Finally, a test campaign on an industrial gerbox is conducted and simulation results are confronted to measurements
