In the course of this history will appear also the state of this church; the succession of divers of its bishops; its struggles with the adversaries; matters transacted in ecclesiastical commissions, synods, and visitations; correspondence with the churches abroad; indulgence and regard of the churches of foreigners planted here; and many other particular affairs relating to religion; happening in the time of this Archbishop.
