The Ezra Meeker correspondence and manuscripts consists of two holograph manuscripts in pencil and a selection of letters to and from Meeker. The first manuscript, "George Bush" (circa 1916) is a review of J.E. Ayer's 1916 article on the African American pioneer, George Washington Bush. The other manuscript (circa 1920) is entitled, "Back to the Farm." Among the correspondents included in the letters are Meeker's fellow pioneers, Arthur A. Denny and Quincy A. Brooks, as well as George Himes, first curator of the Oregon Historical Society
