Arrest und Schreibverbot wegen Aufführung der "Räuber" in Mannheim. Flucht über Mannheim (1783), Leipzig (1785), Dresden nach Weimar (1787). 1789 Ernennung zum a.o. Prof. der Geschichte und Philosophie in Jena. 1799 erneute Übersiedelung nach Weimar. Schiller starb am 9.5.1805 in Weimar
