Thermodynamic properties of cryogenic fluids by Richard T Jacobsen( Book )

13 editions published between 1997 and 2013 in English and held by 159 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Practicing engineers and scientist will benefit from this book's presentation of the most accurate information on the subject. The equations for fifteen important cryogenic fluids are presented in a basic format, accompanied by pressure-enthalpy and temperature-entropy charts and tables of thermodynamic properties. The book is supported by ICMPROPRS - an interactive computer program for the calculation of thermodynamic properties of the cryogenic fluids - that can be downloaded from the World Wide Web

7 editions published between 1972 and 1988 in English and held by 28 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Thermodynamics and Thermochemistry: Thermodynamic Tables Project is a result of a chemistry conference in 1963. The text contains various studies, lessons, and experimental data that are relevant to the field. The book is divided into two chapters; the first one includes lessons about the constituent tables, encompassing the physical constants and fixed points, vapor pressure equations, PVT surface equations, and derived properties. For each of these topics, the corresponding formula is explained. Chapter 2 highlights the IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) tables and exp

A thermodynamic property formulation for argon using a 32-term pressure explicit equation of state by Richard B Stewart( Book )

3 editions published in 1981 in English and held by 4 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

"A new thermodynamic property formulation for oxygen is presented. The formulation includes an equation of state, a vapor pressure equation, and estimating functions for the density of the saturated liquid and vapor. The equation of state is a 32-term equation explicit in pressure. The coefficients of the equation of state and ancillary functions were determined by least squares fitting of selected experimental data. In fitting the equation of state multiproperty fitting methods were used to represent pressure-density-temperature data, isochoric heat capacity data, saturated liquid and saturated vapor densities, and velocity of sound measurements. The equation of state is valid for liquid and vapor phases except near the critical point, and the property functions may be integrated continuously through the two-phase liquid-vapor region for the calculation of liquid properties. Comparisons between the data and values calculated from the formulation are given. A brief table of thermodynamic properties is included."--Page [2] of cover
