Kafkas Werk fand erst nach 1945 weltweite Beachtung. Sein besonderer Blick auf die Welt fand sogar als eigener Begriff in die Sprache: "kafkaesk" steht heute sinnbildlich für ein pardoxes oder rätselhaftes und zugleich bedrohliches Ereignis
