Promptbooks include one German manuscript with a printed cast list pasted in. Remaining promptbooks are in English and include typed copies (one for the "condensed version" and one which is incomplete), manuscript copies (one of which is the "property of Chas. A. Tyrell"), and many versions based on a published libretto pasted into a ledger with manuscript or typed stage directions and other annotations. Among the latter is one bearing the signature stamp of Arthur Bell, one which is the "property of Max Figman" , one labelled "Ditson Ed., Property of Fred Solomon," which includes folded scene drawings bound in, and one labelled "Hess version."
