Revised medieval Latin word-list from British and Irish sources by R. E Latham( Book )

"This book represents an early fruit of one of the British Academy's most prestigious research projects, the compilation of a comprehensive Dictionary of Medieval Latin from British Sources ... Baxter and Johnson's Medieval Latin Word-List from British and Irish Sources appeared in 1934 and was reprinted five times. The distinguished lexicographer, R.E. Latham based this Revised Word-List on a re-examination of the material previously used, and supplemented it with new material from a wide range of sources -- more than doubling the number of words covered"--Jacket
A history of the English Church and people by Bede( Book )

41 editions published between 1955 and 2010 in English and French and held by 635 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Written in AD 731, Bede's work opens with a background sketch of Roman Britain's geography and history. It goes on to tell of the kings and bishops, monks and nuns who helped to develop Anglo-Saxon government and religion during the crucial formative years of the English people. Leo Sherley-Price's translation brings us an accurate and readable version, in modern English, of a unique historical document. This edition now includes Bede's Letter to Egbert concerning pastoral care in early Anglo-Saxon England, at the heart of which lay Bede's denunciation of the false monasteries; and The Death of Bede, an admirable eye-witness account by Cuthbert, monk and later Abbot of Jarrow, both translated by D.H. Farmer
Dictionary of medieval Latin from British sources by R. E Latham( Book )

22 editions published between 1975 and 2015 in English and Latin and held by 497 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

The Dictionary of Medieval Latin from British Sources (DMLBS) is the most comprehensive dictionary of Medieval Latin to have been produced and the first ever to focus on British Medieval Latin. Covering a particularly long period stretching from Gildas (fl. 540) to William Camden (1600), it is wholly based on original research, that is to say on the close reading of thousands of Medieval Latin texts, both literary and documentary. This has been carried out specifically for the purpose of recording their distinctive lexical characteristics, and, as far as possible, using the best available sources, whether original manuscripts or modern critical editions. It is also based on systematic searches within computer databases, including the Library of Latin Texts (LLT-A and LLT-B), where many of the texts can be found that make up the sources for the DMLBS
