Grierson, Benjamin Grierson's eldest son, consist chiefly of personal correspondence (1889-1939) about family matters, his military career in Arizona, and the Spanish-American War. Papers of Mason M. Maxon (captain, 10th Cavalry) and Robert G. Smithers (adjutant, 10th Cavalry) include correspondence, maps, orders, reports, rosters, service records, and regulations, primarily relating to military affairs.
