Quantization noise : roundoff error in digital computation, signal processing, control, and communications by Bernard Widrow ( Book )
12 editions published in 2008 in English and held by 233 WorldCat member libraries worldwide
"If you are working in digital signal processing, control, or numerical analysis, you will find this authoritative treatment of quantization noise (roundoff error) to be an invaluable resource." "Do you know where the theory of quantization comes from, and under what circumstances it is true? Expert authors, including the founder of the field and formulator of the theory of quantization noise, Bernard Widrow, answer these and other important practical questions. They describe and analyze uniform quantization, floating-point quantization, and their applications in detail."--Jacket

Adaptive Inverse Control, Reissue Edition A Signal Processing Approach by Bernard Widrow ( Book )
8 editions published between 2007 and 2010 in English and held by 18 WorldCat member libraries worldwide
The book blends the areas of adaptive inverse control and signal processing in ways not presented in any other book, allowing engineers in both fields to share tools and techniques. In the words of one reviewer, "The philosophy is quite refreshing and sho

Adaptive signal processing for seismic monitoring of hydraulic fractures annual report (July 1985 - September 1986) ( Book )
2 editions published in 1986 in English and held by 3 WorldCat member libraries worldwide
Data collected during Nov. 1985 to March 1986 from wells being hydraulically fractured near Bakersfield, CA, has been processed, confirming that pressure pulsations caused by pumping the treatment fluid travel down the borehole and out into the fracture. The consequences are two-fold for fracture diagnostics: (a) The fracture radiates pump-related seismic waves which can be received by a surface geo-phone array. If the fracture-radiated signals can be separated from the interference, the azimuth of the fracture will be obtained seismically. (b) Pumping waves travelling in the fracture excite its acoustic resonances and thereby reveal presence of reflecting structures within the frac. The pumping signals, with suitable interpretation, can be used to delineate the fracture geometry
Special issue on Neural networks ( Book )
1 edition published in 1990 in English and held by 3 WorldCat member libraries worldwide
Adaptive filtering in the frequency domain using the complex LMS algorithm by Mauro Dentino ( Book )
2 editions published between 1978 and 1979 in English and held by 2 WorldCat member libraries worldwide
Adaptive filtering in the frequency domain can be accomplished by Fourier transformation of the input signal and independent weighting of the contents of each frequency bin. The frequency-domain filter performs similarly to a conventional adaptive transversal filter but promises a significant reduction in computation when the number of weights equals or exceeds 16.
