Open coffin set vertically against the church wall; lid with white cross. Two priests, tonsured, wearing copes, holding an open book. To right, acolyte holds processional cross and situla, standing before the church porch. At left, behind the priests, three monks, wearing hoods, in black, and group of mourners, including one man with red cloth and hat. Margins decorated with border of foliate and floreate ornament, including a grotesque of lion's head on bird's body (lower margin) and a peacock (right margin)
