The George H. Williams collection contains newspaper and journal articles relating to aeronautics during World War I. The first series of the George H. Williams papers contain photographs taken at both ground-level and aerial photographs. Images include: Waco, Baylor University, Rich Field, Love Field, the Cotton Palace, personnel associated with Rich Field, and other photographs. The series is in excellent condition and is the largest series of the collection. The second series, Printed Materials, contains materials related to early aviation in Waco and Dallas. Paper materials include an article about Love Field in Westward from 1984, research related to the German aircraft "Stropp," and articles on Rich Field, Lieutenant William T. Campbell, and "Flying Frolics" at Love Field in 1918. This series is in excellent condition, as all are copies of the original articles
