Benjamin Parker (1771-1822) and Nancy Nowell (1775-1857) were married in 1798 at Berwick, Maine. They had eight children, 1800-1819. Their only son and one daughter died young. 1) Eliza Ann Parker (1800-1877) married Joseph Nowell Saunderson (1801-1872) at Lynn, Massachusetts, in 1826. They had six children, 1827-1844. Joseph and Eliza Ann Saunderson died at Lynn. 2) Betsey E. Parker (1802-1882) married Isaac N. Allen (1799-1843) of Sanford, Maine, in 1819. They had eight children, 1820-1840. Isaac Allen died at Sanford, Maine. Betsey Allen died at South Abington, Massachusetts. 3) Mary Jane Parker (b. 1805) married Jacob Emery at Shapeleigh, Maine, in 1824. They probably had at least three daughters who died young. Jacob Emery died at Shapeleigh in 1849. 4) Sarah Hobbs Parker (1808-1875), a twin, married Ebenezer Parsons (1807-1865) at Lynn, Massachusetts, in 1833. They had five children, 1834-1842, born at Boston, Massachusetts. Ebenezer and Sarah Parsons died at Lynn. 5) Lydia Syrena Parker (1808-ca. 1871) married George D. Griffin (d. 1851), a sea captain, at Lynn, Massachusetts. They had four children, 1838-1843, born at Lynn. Lydia Syrena Griffin died at San Francisco, California. 6) Josephine Parker (1819-1895) married Isaiah Clarkson Breed (1819-1903) in 1842 at Lynn, Massachusetts. They had four children, 1843-1850. The daughter died young. None of the sons married. Josephine and Isaiah Breed died at Lynn
