In this episode John, in an effort to save Mary, says that he knows the diamond's whereabouts. In order to force him to prove his words, John is inoculated with a deadly poison for which only Nang Fu possesses the antidote. Atherton (Nang Fu) is invited to the Marcon home for dinner. Blaine, a private detective, is suspicious of everyone and decides to play the role of a watchful butler. The dinner guests think the wine has a peculiar taste and may have been poisoned

John and Mary go to the Hale mansion in search of their employer, Marcon. The diamond is taken by Dakar

In this episode Ghung, wishing to appear a hero, accuses Tavanier of the kidnapping. Bibi believes Tavanier was false and marries Ghung. Bagi is given the gold he was promised for his daughter, but Ghung has ordered his spy to recover the gold. Tavanier returns to save Bagi from the spy. The frenchman then rushes to the upper chamber to find Mirza, who had been won by Ghung's false promises, dancing around Ghung in an effort to retain his love, while Bibi cringes on a couch trying to save herself from Ghung. Bibi escapes to her father and Tavanier kills Ghung. Bibi is burned on her husband's funeral pyre following the ancient custom, and Tavanier is torn to death by wild dogs
