Thomas Halsey was born 2 January 1592, the fourth son of Robert and Dorothy Halsey. He was living at Naples in 1621 and Lynn, Massachusetts by 1637. "Married 1st, before 1627, Phoebe --. She was murdered by 2 Pequot Indians in 1649. Md. 2d July 25 1660, Ann Johnes, wid. of Edward Johnes."--Page 37. Thomas Halsey died in 1679. His will was proven in New York City. Descendants lived in New York, Connecticut, Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Alabama, Missouri, California and elsewhere
