The sites depicted in Egypt are archaeological ruins (the Island of Philae, Karnak, Thebes, Kalābishah, Dendara, and Abū Sunbul) except for images of the city of Alexandria, a bazaar in Cairo and a shop. Istanbul sites include mosques (the Sultanahmet, the Zeyrek mosque, and Ayasofya), the tomb of Sultan Mahmud II and Sultan Abdülaziz, the Galata tower, Byzantine walls and ruins, street scenes, and palaces and horses of Sultan Abdülhamid II.
