Manuscript copy written in Perth (Scotland) in 1810 of the work by Nahum Tate and Nicholas Brady, first published in 1696. Gilt leather binding with 2 ribbon markers and gilt page edges. Rulings in lead visible on some leaves. As in the first edition, the manuscript has no musical notation. The Psalms are followed by a page of texts for the Gloria Patri and a small number of hymn lyrics, including "Hark! the herald angels sing" as one of two Christmas hymn lyrics.
