Chester is lost when his pony bolts from the ranch. Chester saves Jerry from a gang of bandits. Jerry is the only witness to a train robbery by Red Riggles and his desperadoes. Together the boys find the hiding place of millions of dollars worth of loot belonging to the gang. But Riggles has now buried the loot in another place. The boys keep following the gang hoping to find the loot

Andy Gump invites fellow office worker Silas Kafoosh home for dinner but fails to inform his wife Min. They board the commuter train and Andy speculates on what Min may be concocting for supper. At home, the refrigerator is empty and Min is in a very testy mood. When Andy shows up with his surprise guest, Min is not pleased. Andy has to run out for some food, which is so bad that it gets up from the plate and walks away. Silas departs regretting the visit. Andy blocks out Min's scolding with ear muffs
