The letter from Anna to Emil Jakob Schindler is undated but stems from after Alma's birth. Also included is an essay about Schindler and the monument to him in the Vienna City Park (Stadtpark), apparently from a guidebook to the park; transcripts of 2 essays by Schindler: a typescript and a carbon typescript of 1 essay entitled "Eine fart [sic] nach den Kugelmülen"; and a handwritten transcription by Alma Mahler of 1 essay about his stay on Corfu, during the trip he took to make drawings and paintings of the Dalmatian coast. For 2 exhibition brochures (Galerie Miethke, Vienna, 1912; Galerie des XIX. Jahrhunderts, Vienna, 1942), as well as the catalog for the auction of Schindler's artistic estate (H. O. Miethke, Vienna, 1892), see: Memorabilia related to Emil Jakob Schindler (Folder 1658).

Included are several legal documents: 1 registration form (Meldungsnachweis) for the Moll family's move to the house on Wollergasse, Vienna, in 1908; a transcript of a will (Denkschrift) by Carl Moll dated 1943; and 2 copies of an inventory of his estate (for an additional copy of the estate inventory, see under Legal Documents). Drafts of 2 letters from Moll (1 to Schuschnigg and 1 to the Obersenatsrat of Vienna, a city government official) concern the plans for a monument and memorial celebration in honor of Gustav Mahler in 1935. The correspondence between Moll and Grimschitz (Österreichische Galerie) dates from 1940 to 1944 and mainly concerns paintings by Emil Jakob Schindler. For a draft of 1 letter from Alma Mahler to Carl Moll, see the oversized container. Of the 5 items from unidentified correspondents, 1 to Anna Moll was written upon the death of Gustav Mahler. For additional correspondence addressed to Carl Moll from other correspondents, see under the following: Angeli, Heinrich von; Kaulbach, Friedrich H., 1822-1903; and Minne, J.
