Graeme Mann & Patricia Capua Mann by Bruno Marchand( )

10 editions published between 2008 and 2013 in English and French and held by 317 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

"The Lausanne architects Mann Capua Mann have been active since 1991. Their mottoes are: Distill the answers for the concrete project from the elements on site. Design spaces that, for all their dynamism, are organized in a manner that is clear to the users. Utilize materials that are in harmony with the surroundings. Their structures are compelling thanks to the variety of their views, the diversity of their light effects, and the expressive simplicity of their spatial effects." "This monograph is being published in the Collection Archigraphy Lemaniques, which is under the general editorship of Bruno Marchand. It offers for the first time a solidly based and thoroughgoing overview of the activity of the firm, which has distinguished itself in the Western Swiss architecture scene with its small but sophisticated body of work."--BOOK JACKET
Galletti & Matter collection of places : buildings & projects by Olivier Galletti( Book )

8 editions published between 2005 and 2006 in English and held by 150 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Innovative, flexible and pragmatic: the award-winning office of Galletti & Matter. Claude Matter and Olivier Galletti, two young Swiss architects, have developed an essentially pragmatic approach based on sensitivity to location. They begin with an initial concept, not a definitive answer, open to modification during the construction process. The creation of various and distinctive spaces corresponding to situations and demands that crystallize on location, rather than the realisation of a preconceived homogeneous design. This volume, the first in a new series on young architects from Suisse Rom
Renato Salvi : architect by Bruno Marchand( Book )

6 editions published in 2011 in English and held by 88 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Renato Salvi (b. 1956) completed his studies at the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) in Zurich and at Sapienza University in Rome, and served as assistant professor under Flora Ruchat and Vincent Mangeat. In 1998, he started his own architectural firm in Delémont, the capital of the newly created Swiss canton of Jura. His design for the Transjurane A 16 highway has received international attention and recognition for the uncompromisingly contemporary and at the same time subtle way that its concrete bridges, tunnel entrances, and ventilation structures contrast with and accentuate the wild beauty of the Jurassic landscape. Other chapters of this first-ever monograph on the Swiss Italian architect document a selection of his remarkable single-family houses, school buildings, and renovations. Editor Bruno Marchand is a professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne)

Architecture du canton de Vaud 1920-1975 by Marchand( Book )

3 editions published in 2012 in French and held by 36 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Renato Salvi architecte by Renato Salvi( Book )

3 editions published in 2011 in French and held by 14 WorldCat member libraries worldwide
