Duras filme by Jérôme Beaujour( Visual )

12 editions published between 1981 and 2013 in French and Undetermined and held by 17 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

10 editions published between 1984 and 2013 in 3 languages and held by 13 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

La caverne noire by Jérôme Beaujour( Visual )

10 editions published between 1984 and 2013 in French and Undetermined and held by 12 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

9 editions published between 1984 and 2013 in French and Undetermined and held by 12 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

9 editions published between 1984 and 2013 in French and Undetermined and held by 12 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

7 editions published between 1984 and 2013 in French and Undetermined and held by 10 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Détruire, dit-elle by Marguerite Duras( Visual )

1 edition published in 2008 in French and held by 5 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Duras' first film as director is a psychodrama based on her own play written in the wake of the 1968 events in Paris. Five people isolated in a hotel become enmeshed in a ritualistic game. Two women in the group absorb part of each others' personality in a manner comparable to that of principal characters in Bergman's Persona. Duras' method, which she followed in subsequent films, was to write the scenario and film quickly in a matter of days, stripping the work to its basic elements
