4 editions published between 2008 and 2009 in Italian and held by 11 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

La Rabbia employs documentary footage (from the 1950's) and accompanying commentary to attempt to answer the existential question, Why are our lives characterized by discontent, anguish, and fear? The film was originally in two completely separate parts, and the directors of these respective sections, left-wing Pier Paolo Pasolini and conservative Giovanni Guareschi, offered the viewer contrasting analyses of and prescriptions for modern society. Part I, by Pasolini, is a denunciation of the offenses of Western culture, particularly those against colonized Africa. It is at the same time a chronicle of the liberation and independence of the former African colonies, portraying these peoples as the new protagonists of the world stage, holding up Marxism as their salvation, and suggesting that their innocent ferocity will be the new religion of the era. Pasollini's segment was severly cut, and the the pairing with Guareschi reduced it to a banal political diatribe. This reconstruction is an attempt to endow the work with the form, approch, and diversity intended by Pasolini in the making of the original feature film. The appendix features defamatory newsreels about Pasolini and excerpts from an interview with Pasolini

5 editions published in 2012 in Italian and held by 10 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

'Na specie de cadavere lunghissimo = Some sort of extra-long corpse: a long monologue, a play, created and performed by Fabrizio Gifuni. It is the confluence of three virtuous qualities: that of actor Fabrizio Gifuni, the director Giuseppe Bertolucci, one of the few who can really work with actors, and the poet George Somalvico, author of the text. In his long time project, Gifuni has worked with intensity and intelligence on selection and assemblage of Posolini's texts. The monologue is well balanced and structured. The speaker (Gifuni) mourns the loss of Italy's Golden Age; discussing the contemporary new barbarism, advertising, consumerism, television, approval of tolerant habits, thoughts and customs, Pasolini's theorem on cultural genocide, the anthropological mutation of an entire country, and other topics
