This fantastically twisted fairy tale is chock-full of curious characters and special effects. A sad and heartbroken madman, Krank, is aging prematurely because he can't dream. He kidnaps little children, hoping that eventually he will find a way to steal their sleeping thoughts. The story takes the form of a quest, as a sentimental harpooner-turned-fairground strongman, One, sets out to find his young brother on a dilapidated oil rig. He soon falls in love with the gutsy nine-year-old girl (who is head of the orphan gang), and together they run a gauntlet of fantastical dangers as they join hearts and hands to save a small boy's dreams from the madman's master plan

After a surreal night of passion, he awakens the next morning to wonder if it all was just a dream."--Container
Il Casanova di Federico Fellini by Federico Fellini( Visual )

8 editions published between 1993 and 2011 in Italian and English and held by 76 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

"Portrays Casanova in his waning days, travelling from a bubonic-plagued Venice to a syphilitic London via a tubercular Germany, engaging in various amorous and political adventures with an air of bored detachment. Imbued with a romantic pessimism, the film debunks the myth of Casanova as a great lover and instead presents him as an ordinary man swept along by extraordinary circumstances"--Container

Having confessed under torture to the crimes of which he is accused, de Molay is condemned to be burned at the stake. With his dying breath he curses the king, the king's advisor (Guillaume de Nogaret), the pope (Pope Clement V) and the thirteen succeeding generations of their families. There follows one of the most dramatic periods in French history, half a century of political intrigue, murder, treason, war and famine, which ultimately culminates in the 100 Years War"--Amazon
