The collection consists of sixty architectural drawings, including blueprints, photocopies, positive blueprints, and color drawings, all depicting proposed additions to the Pattee Library complex of the Pennsylvania State University; not all proposals included were implemented. The diverse set includes: floor plans, showing proposed improvements and alterations, some including plot plans or elevations; detail drawings, including display cases, storage cases, a book truck, and shelving and desk units; a concept drawing for the Class of 1989 gift, a terrace area; photocopies of sketches showing proposed parking areas; a 1994 site plan; a 1994 construction timetable for the 1994-1995 renovation; a negative blueprint drawing of a portico. Plans from 1936 are by Hunter & Caldwell, in conjunction with Chas. Z. Klauder, while the 1994 plans are by Celli-Flynn & Associates

Klauder, design drawings and master plan studies, and a large number of blueprints documenting the various stages of construction as executed by the collaborative efforts of Eyre, Walter Cope & John Stewardson, and Frank Miles Day & Charles Klauder. Holdings for the Horatio Gates Lloyd House, also known as "Allgates", include presentation renderings by Eyre and a large number of blueprints documenting the original construction, various additions, and landscape and garden work designed by Horace Wells Sellers. With the exception of these two projects, researchers can expect each project to be represented by only a few presentation drawings.
