The long-awaited second "solo" album by the talented singer/harpist expands greatly on her debut, 2003's Bella Terra. Here the music is performed by a unique nine-piece ensemble including brother Ferran Savall on vocals and the lute-like theorb, vocalist Petter Johansen plus guitar, lute, double bass, santour, bouzouki and percussion. Based on a taoist tale (Prince Peiwoh playing a wondrous harp, whose stubborn spirit should be tamed but by the greatest of musicians). Arianna enhances the textiural variation by performing on a variety of instruments: the small Gothic harp, the rich, subtle Italian baroque harp, and the trademark majesty of her usual Celtic harp
