3 editions published in 2016 in English and held by 9 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

When Good Fathers Die, it's Always Too Early is a masterful four-part series of lectures by Dr. Rod Rosenbladt that serves as an indispensible guide for those who wish to see the ethos of Lutheran Christianity at its best. This brilliant exposition of the central tenets of Scripture and the Reformation will have you walking in deeper appreciation of your Father in heaven. Beaming with biblical insight, this 4-1/2 hour presentation is vintage "Dr. Rod". It addresses the Fatherhood of God in respect to the core of the Gospel and our role as earthly fathers following in the footsteps of our heavenly Father. This presentation highlights God's attributes of goodness and love and is resplendent with paternal wisdom. Given from the heart, this series also provides practical insights into Dr. Rosenbladt's relationship with his own father and son. Each lecture is followed by a compelling question and answer session that illuminates a variety of themes and points from the presentation. The audio of this presentation is available as four downloadable MP3 files. Use iTunes or your favorite MP3 listening software to make an audio CD. You will definitely want these gems at the ready for years to come. ** NOTE: These have been edited for clarity from the original recordings produced from the Cathedral of the Advent, but all audio is unabridged. The recording for track two appears to have been started after the lecture started - this set contains all the recorded audio available from the presentation
2009 apologetics symposium by Rod Rosenbladt( )

1 edition published in 2016 in English and held by 7 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Zion Lutheran Church in Tomball, Texas invited Dr. Rod Rosenbladt and Craig Parton to speak at the 2009 Apologetics Symposium. Their assignment was straightforward: define the apologetic task and give the bedrock foundation for an easily understood defense of the Christian faith. With the exception of Dr. John Warwick Montgomery, there are no more eminently qualified and experienced men to address this topic than these two men, and they both hit grand slam home runs with these lectures. Several of the attendees at the Symposium told us that these were the best lectures on the subject that they had ever heard. One gentleman told us he had been studying apologetics for twenty years and these (and one by Mr. Parton, in particular) were the clearest, most powerful lectures on the subject that he had ever heard. The six sessions and the follow up Q and A are honestly some of Dr. Rosenbladt's and Mr. Parton's best work. Here are the lecture titles: 1. Why Defend the Faith at All' - Craig Parton 2. Intro to Apologetics - Rod Rosenbladt 3. Historical - Legal Apologetics - Craig Parton 4. What Non Christians Ask - Rod Rosenbladt 5. Islam, Cults and the New Age - Craig Parton 6. A Lutheran Defense of the Biblical Gospel - Rod Rosenbladt 7. Q and A - Rosenbladt and Parton These are great for personal study, or for use in small groups or Sunday School. If you are going to College or have children headed there, the materials in these lectures will help prepare you/them to withstand the coming onslaught of "scholarship" devoted to debunking the Christian faith. Basic objections to the historicity and truthfulness of the Scriptures are devastated by Dr. Rosenbladt and Mr. Parton using a court room evidentiary approach. These materials should be incorporated into the catechesis of our teenagers and adult converts. Download the two free lectures, and we guarantee you will want to own the entire set

As heard on Pirate Christian Radio! Featuring Dr. Rosenbladt, Pastor Mallie, Pastor Cwirla and Craig Parton, Esq., this series is available in parts - each approximately 2-hour lecture in two 1-hour MP3s - or you can save 20% on the entire 12 MP3 set! Lecture 1 Christ Alone: The Only and Sufficient Savior Dr. Rod Rosenbladt 122 minutes Christians make the bold claim that Christ is the only way to God. This claim is a common objection to Christianity. In this seminar, Dr. Rosenbladt makes the case that Jesus Christ is unique, as the only savior of this world, and he is the sufficient savior of this world. What does the Bible say about Christ as the sole and sufficient savior' How do Christians make the case for the exclusivity of Christ in our post-modern, relativistic age where any claims of truth are met with scrutiny' How did the Reformers address these questions' And, how do we as Christians make the case that Christ's exclusivity is indeed true' These are a few of the questions Dr. Rosenbladt addresses. Lecture 2 The Bible: Its Authority and Reliability Pastor Charlie Mallie 129 minutes Non-Christians find the reliability and authority of the Bible doubtful, and the dependability of the Bible must be firmly established before they will believe the promises that the Bible contains. Why do Christians believe that the Bible is God's Word' Having cut his teeth evangelizing on the street, Pastor Mallie takes the listener through the "dos" and "don'ts" of evangelism, particularly related to the topic of the reliability and authority of the Bible by providing a historical perspective on the validity of the New Testament. Lecture 3 Sin: Original and Actual Pastor William Cwirla 122 minutes What is the place of the doctrine of sin in apologetics' Why should we even spend time talking about sin' Are we sinners or are we saints' "The wages of sin is death," according to St. Paul. The revealed law and doctrine of sin tell us the truth about who we are. If unbelievers don't understand the depth of their sin, they won't understand their need for salvation. And to fail to distinguish the Law and the Gospel properly is to fail to understand either. This is a great discussion that is applicable to both believers and unbelievers alike. Lecture 4 The Problem of Evil Pastor Charlie Mallie 116 minutes The 'Problem of Evil' is considered by some the best argument against Christianity. The argument often goes something like this: 'Why would a good good, who is all powerful allow evil to happen'' How this question is answered can often do more harm than good' How should Christians address this touchy subject' Pastor Mallie goes through how to address this problem as well as arguments that ought to be avoided. Lecture 5 Truth and Relativism: Christian Faith in a Post-Modern World Pastor Charlie Mallie

"Many Christians have a poorly developed sense of the goodness of God's creation and fail to recognize that all of creation, though fallen, is a thing to be enjoyed in and of itself. In this series, the hosts take a look at the arts, and movies in particular, as a part of God's creation that Christians should enjoy. Special guest, Hollywood screenwriter Brian Godawa, adds his insight about the legitimacy of a calling in Hollywood, and discusses how stories convey powerful messages whether we realize it or not."--Container
