Los cortometrajes que conforman el proyecto, abordan temas como violencia, incesto, alienación, infidelidad, soledad, reclusión o incomunicación, situando la cámara delante de la ventana o en el interior, cuando el evento narrado se hace permeable o se desarrolla simultánea o alternativamente en ambos espacios: público y privado. El autor señala que las "ventanas" de cada historia se usan como metáforas: "Las ventanas son términos de negociación entre lo privado y lo público, entre lo privado y el mundo; son fronteras entre lo subjetivo y lo objetivo. Cuando miran hacia fuera, son las alas de la imaginación, vehículos de trascendencia, una mirada fija en el infinito. A la inversa, mirando adentro, las ventanas son entradas a una sed voyerística infinita en el enigma del otro, lo privado. Como ves, una vez más, y aquí más directamente a través de la metáfora de la ventana, estoy tratando de destrozar la noción de la solidez y la impenetrabilidad de la frontera"
