Using footage from several security cameras located around Seoul city, Influenza, in a way that is voyeuristic in style, shows the psychological and moral downward spiral of a troubled individual known only as "Mr. Cho." Through the first several security camera images we see Mr. Cho standing forlornly on the edge of the Han River Bridge, reciting lines to sell glue in front of a mirror in a public restroom, and being forcibly escorted off a subway train by security guards. However, his behavior becomes more violent and erratic as subsequent security camera images show
