A film in three seemingly unrelated parts, all relating to family relationships. In the 1st part, Mi-ra, who runs a small snack food restaurant, has a trouble-maker brother, Hyung-chul. After being discharged from the miltary, Hyung-chul goes missing for five years, and then comes home accompanied by a middle-aged woman, Mu-sin. Hyung-chul introduces Mu-sin as his wife, even though they have not had a wedding ceremony. From that moment on, an eccentric family is born. In the 2nd part, the focus is on a quick-tempered young woman named Sun-kyung, who finds out her mother is seriously ill. Sun-kyung has been on bad terms with her mother because the latter is having an affair with a married man with a young son.
