On Sept. 13, 2003 Steve Gadd was honored by the Avedis Zildjian Co. at the 2nd American Drummers Achievement Awards (ADAA) held at the Berklee Performance Center in Boston, Mass., which included a special tribute to the late Armand Zildjian. The event was hosted by Bill Cosby and featured an all-star band that included Vinnie Colaiuta and Rock Marotta, drums; Michael Landau, guitar; Jimmy Johnson, bass; Larry Goldings, keyboards; and special guest appearances by Will Lee, vocals and Tom Scott, saxophone. The evening culminated in an incredible performance by Steve with James Taylor and the band. Also included are extensive rehearsal footage, a 20-minute documentary on Steve's career narrated by Tony Levin, backstage interviews, and rare early film footage of Steve
