Eleven miscellaneous items, most of which pertain to Stewart Blanc, including a receipt (1867) for a deposit on his purchase of a parcel of land in San Francisco; a handwritten letter written by "Papa Blanc" to "Alex," written on a billhead for Blanc's bootmaking business in Honolulu, HI; a 1904 receipt from the State of Calif. for Blanc's payment of a poll tax; and an addendum to a life insurance policy held by Blanc (undated). Three items concern the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and fire; an authorization to pass through police and military lines, a document naming the bearer a Special Police Officer, and a meal ticket from the Finance Committee of the Relief and Red Cross Funds dated May 12, 1906. Includes an undated Sunset Telephone and Telegraph Company form with a message from Judge McKenna in San Francisco to General Benjamin Harrison at Stanford University, inquiring about Harrison's schedule for arriving in Oakland, with a reply to McKenna from Harrison. Also includes a printed card (undated) of the San Francisco Victory Liberty Loan Committee, certifying that S.A. Blanc is a Lieutenant in the District 191 Division of the Somme and is entitled to receive payment from the Victory Liberty Loan
