Using brightly-coloured cut-out figures reminiscent of illustrations from mediaeval manuscripts, this animated film depicts some of the highlights of the story. The accompanying music, written in the style of the late 16th and early 17th centuries, is played on authentic Renaissance instruments. Mr. Frog went A-courting (4 min., 31 sec.) is a story about a handsome frog who courts a mouse.
