Vor Prozeßbeginn beauftragt das Gericht eine Psychiaterin, ein Gutachten über den Geisteszustand der Angeklagen anzufertigen. Jeder hält die drei Frauen für geistesgestört, aber die Psychiaterin beginnt allmählich, an dieser Vermutung zu zweifeln
