Grégoire and his fellow students also rehearse for and perform in the evening's Défilé, the Paris Opéra Ballet's traditional procession of students and company members. In the process, Nureyev is remembered by dancers and administrators of the Opéra, who discuss his qualities as a dancer, his personal characteristics, and his considerable achievements during his tenure as artistic director of the Paris Opéra Ballet.
