1 edition published in 2011 in French and held by 7 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

The dancer and choreographer Charles Jude shares his artistic vision on the occasion of a new production of Coppélia. Along the Venitian canals and on the stage of La Fenice, the spectator discovers the new production of Coppélia by the choreographer Charles Jude. A former Étoile at the Paris Opera Ballet, Charles Jude is keen to adopt an evolutive approach towards the ballet repertoire in his choreographic works. Tradition should not be stuck in ossified academicism, but should be a font from where to draw one's inspiration to develop a choreographic vocabulary comprehensible for the contemporary audience. Put into practice, this approach has led Charles Jude to combine classical, contemporary, and music-hall choreographic patterns within this production of Coppélia, setting the plot in the United States of the 1950's. This trip to Venice is also the occasion to go and meditate at Diaghilev's and Stravinsky's graves at the San Michle cemetery, two great names of the 20th century who introduced ballet into new artistic fields

Documentary on the legacy of legendary dancer-choreographer Rudolf Nureyev. The tribute is framed by events of a single day, January 20, 2003, and follows a young ballet student, Grégoire Lansier, as he travels from a ballet class at the Ecole de danse to the studios and stage of the Palais Garnier, where he watches rehearsals for the evening's gala performance in honor of Nureyev. Grégoire and his fellow students also rehearse for and perform in the evening's Défilé, the Paris Opéra Ballet's traditional procession of students and company members. In the process, Nureyev is remembered by dancers and administrators of the Opéra, who discuss his qualities as a dancer, his personal characteristics, and his considerable achievements during his tenure as artistic director of the Paris Opéra Ballet. Archival footage and news stories depict him in major roles and important events in his life.
