One box of correspondence, 1860-1916, relates to his work and interests as an architect, philanthropic works, and the American Institute of Architects. Some of the correspondents include Frederick Law Olmsted, Mary M. Husband, George William Curtis, Anne Charlotte Lynch Botta, John Jay, Louisa Lee Schuyler, Harriet E. Darrell, Julia Ward Howe, Andrew H. Green, and Hanson C. Stone. Poems, translations of poetry, and miscellaneous writings and notes are in one box. Included are manuscript poems "In Memory of Sarah Margaret Fuller D'Ossoli," and "Gonzalvo." One letterbook, now unbound and in 1 folder, relates to his work with the U.S. Sanitary Commission from 1861-1865. five diaries, (in 5 volumes), record Bloor's daily activities in Brooklyn and New York City, and in various locations when on vacation from 1848-1867. Some of the people he mentions include Calvert Vaux, Frederick Law Olmsted, and Henry Whitney Bellows
