The original poster was published for Harper's Magazine in 1895 in London by the Artistic Supply Co. Ltd., Amberly House W.C., and printed by Stafford + Co., Netherfield, Nottingham (copyrighted in America). The poster depicts a Beefeater on red ground (left portion of poster), wearing the traditional costume and carrying a staff
