Veteran performers George S. Irving and Ellen Handley, who worked with Duke in the 1952 revue Two's company, reminisce about the experience. They also discuss the contentious relationship between the show's star, Bette Davis, and its choreographer, Jerome Robbins
Mack Sennett day : [reconstructing a dance from High button shoes] by Jerome Robbins( Recording )

1 edition published in 1987 in English and held by 1 WorldCat member library worldwide

In order to reconstruct On a Sunday by the sea (also known as the "Keystone Kops ballet" or the "Bathing beauty ballet") for his 1989 musical theater work Jerome Robbins' Broadway, Robbins invited people who had appeared in or worked on the original 1947 show High button shoes. These discs record their reunion and their work reconstructing the ballet, using an incomplete silent film, accompanied by a live pianist. The participants discuss the scenario, counts and choreography of the piece, the set, the music and the cues. In many sections of the recording, multiple people speak at once, making it difficult to follow individual speakers. There are also conversations about personal matters among the participants
