"At the beginning of the 19th century in North America, the white man has added a new means of forceably expelling the Indians. They bargain for the purchase of their lands, and push them ever further into barren areas of the West. Governor Harrison of Indiana is the greediest. In order to stop Harrison, Shawnee chief Tecumseh tries to unite the Indians. He manages to establish a tribal alliance, which declares that the Indian lands are not for sale individually. Any chief who defies this will be killed. In 1811, Harrison attacks the main settlement of Tecumseh's followers. The survivors flee towards Canada and make a deal with the English, who are stationed there for their war with the Americans (the so-called second War of Independence). The Indians, with Tecumseh in the uniform of a Brigadier General, are left in the lurch by the defeated English, and are beaten by the Americans in battle."--see OCLC #81458299
