Interview conducted for Voices from the Catholic Worker. Angela Cordaro talks about her son, Father Frank Cordaro starting a Catholic Worker house in Des Moines, Iowa. She highlights what drew him to the movement from college and then seminary, what it meant for the house to include women and children, and her son's affinity for civil disobedience and getting arrested. Throughout, she notes her disgust with the hypocrisy of the Catholic Church's teachings and the necessity of the Catholic Worker. Interviewed by Rosalie Riegle Troester. Interruptions in audio present in original recording.
