Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Clan Gunn and its septs, especially those who emigrated from Scotland to America. Some focus is on (but not limited to) descendants of George Gunn, the Crowner (or coroner) who lived at Halberry Castle in the 15th century. Some of his children were James, Robert, John, Torquil, William, Alexander, and Henry. After some Gunns were killed at the Chapel of St. Tears, their families scattered. Some remained at Caithness, some at Sutherland, and others lived along the Caithness-Sutherland border. Beginning in the 1600's, some immigrated to Massachusetts, Connecticut, Georgia, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, and Virginia. Later families also migrated into Canada, and to Alabama, California, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, and elsewhere
