Data collected in the same inshore fishing area were averaged together to produce monthly mean temperatures and some additional data. Averages were calculated for depths greater than 12 metres and for less than 12 metres. This report presents results for 1988-90 from less than 12 metres, including average temperatures, standard deviations, number of data points, maximum and minimum temperatures, and monthly distributions of temperature. Diagrams of the average monthly temperatures, temperature extremes, and the temperature distributions are also shown312ocn433992109book19930.53Gurbutt, P. AThe Physical oceanography of the Bras d'Or Lakes data analysis and modellingThe Bras d'Or Lakes are a system of interconnecting basins open to the Sydney Bight near the mouth of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. This report provides an analysis and interpretation of the data from Krauel's program, conducted from 1972-74, and presents a picture of the circulation in the lakes as a whole through a multiple box model157ocn031113268book19810.84Jordan, FIce floe movement in Baffin Bay and Davis Strait from satellite pictures126ocn056254347book19770.84Neu, H. Geographic parameters include area at high water and chart datum, perimeter, axis length, low water volume, maximum depth, width and areas at the mouth of the inlet, and watershed area. Oceanographic parameters include mean and large tidal range, mean tidal volume, tidal current at the mouth of the inlet and an estimate of the flushing time. Hydrological parameters include monthly mean and standard deviation of the freshwater discharges into the inlet. Monthly mean temperatures and standard deviations for NAFO fishing areas and the locations of moored thermographs in the area are also givenFri Mar 21 15:44:41 EDT 2014batch5285
