Abstract:
An alternative novel on the 1932 Lindbergh kidnaping in which the baby is not killed but switched to replace a dead child. The kidnapers are the dead child's parents and the novel centers on their mounting guilt as they watch Lindbergh's son grow to become a famous politician.
