Abstract:
For more than a decade, the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) has been sending back to Earth stunning detailed images of our universe, from the storms on the planets in our own solar system to the collisions of far-off galaxies. These dazzling images have enabled astronomers to expand their knowledge of the very structure and evolution of our universe. Now, with its new Advanced Camera System, Hubble is peering deeper into space than ever before, revealing more remote galaxies and sending back dramatic new views of the cosmos.
