Because of my subject of interest I took volume 5, "Eternity-God" off the shelf. Each article, ranging from the "Ethiopian Church" and "Gender and Religion in North American Indian Religious Tradition" to more mainline subjects like "Feminism" and "Gnosticism," appears quite thorough and well-organized, each with an abbreviated bibliography provided at the end.
